                Panther Valley Elementary students are enjoying some brand-new books after the school held its book fair last week. But they also took the opportunity to help another elementary school raise money to purchase their own books.
                Panther Valley students raised more than $1,000 during the week of March 7-11 to help an underprivileged school in Allentown purchase books for its library. Students collected change all week long in their classrooms to benefit Cleveland Elementary School in Allentown.JoAnne Damian's second-grade students were the top fundraisers.The school's contribution was also matched by Scholastic, the company that put on the book fair.
