Schuylkill County President Judge William E. Baldwin has revoked the participation of two local men in programs that kept them out of jail.

Nevin Holben, 20, New Ringgold: President Judge William E. Baldwin revoked Holben's acceptance into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program. He had been placed in the program on April 16, 2015.Holben, charged by Rush Township police with driving under the influence on May 18, 2014, may now face trial on the charges.Edward L. Rivera, Tamaqua: Baldwin revoked his probation and sentenced him to eight to 23 months in jail, followed by 12 months of probation.Baldwin ordered Rivera to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, and successfully complete any treatment. He also gave Rivera credit for 91 days he has already served.Rivera was charged by Tamaqua police with theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and driving while his license was suspended or revoked on Oct. 31, 2015.
