A burglary that occurred Wednesday in Monroe County remains under investigation.

State Police at Fern Ridge said the incident occurred at 8:44 a.m. when someone forced open the garage door of a foreclosed home at 2303 Hill Road, Chestnuthill Township.The victim is listed as a Tannersville Realtor and an East Stroudsburg man.In addition to the attempted burglary, a red 2013 Dodge Dart parked behind the home was reported stolen by Stroud Area Regional Police Department.Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Fern Ridge at 570-646-2271.
