Palmerton Police Department reports the following incidents:

Simple assault:Charges were filed against Branden Reichard, 24, of Palmerton, for simple assault, criminal mischief, and harassment. The incident occurred on Nov. 20 in the 700 block of Princeton Avenue.Forgery: Charges were filed against Shane Smith, 42, of Palmerton, for forgery. The incident occurred on Jan. 29 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.Receiving stolen property: Charges were filed against Jacob Temos, 39, of Palmerton, for receiving stolen property. The incident occurred on Jan. 14 in the 800 block of W. Edgemont Avenue.DUI: Charges were filed against David Huszar, 51, of Palmerton, for DUI, resisting arrest, reckless driving, and careless driving. The incident occurred on Feb. 13 in the 1500 block of Mauch Chunk Road.Charges were filed against Matthew Shollenberger, 41, of Palmerton, for DUI, careless drivingand unlawful activities. The incident occurred on Jan. 9 at Delaware Avenue and Mauch Chunk Road.Charges were filed against Richard Miller, 48, of Palmerton, for DUI and periods for required lighted lamps. The incident occurred on Jan. 19 in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue.Police also issued eight citations for speeding, and four for traffic violations.Criminal mischief: Citations were filed against Palmerton boys, ages 13 and 14, for criminal mischief. The violations occurred on Feb. 6 in the 600 block of Franklin Avenue.Disorderly conduct: Katie Stroup, 22, of Palmerton, and Peter Halada III, 26, of Palmerton, were cited for disorderly conduct. The violations occurred on Feb. 21 in the 800 block of Alley L.Junk vehicles: Robin Kulowski, 54, of Jim Thorpe, was cited for junk vehicles. The violation occurred on Feb. 15 in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue.Burglary: Charges were filedagainst two 17-year-old Palmerton males. Each was charged with burglary, criminal conspiracy, and criminal trespass. The incident occurred on Feb. 23 in the 600 block of Mauch Chunk Road.
