The Delaware and Lehigh Heritage Trail will host two volunteer kickoff days to help people in search of volunteer opportunities in the county.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, volunteer education will take place at the Jim Thorpe Train Station, with the second date set for March 12 at the National Canal Museum in Easton.Seasonal or yearlong, indoor or outdoor preferences will be available for the D & L's volunteer corps. Volunteer area opportunities will include trail maintenance, canal education, administrative and social media support.From Scouts to students, recent grads to retirees, all are welcome.
