State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of a motor vehicle registration plate.

Troopers said the plate was removed from a vehicle while parked in the area of Main Street in Gilberton, sometime during the overnight hours of Sunday into Monday. The plate number is JDJ-0227.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
