Coaldale woman who kicked Jeep faces mischief charges

A domestic dispute proved costly for a Coaldale woman.

Coaldale officers were dispatched to 229 W. Earley Ave. at 10:36 p.m. Nov. 30for a disturbance. They found two people, Brian Breiner and Deann Breiner, standing in the street.Brian Breiner said Deann Breiner had kicked and damaged the driver's side door of the silver Jeep Liberty he was standing beside. As the officer looked at the vehicle, the Breiners began arguing. The officer sent her to the house and him to sit in the vehicle.Deann Breiner said she had been receiving harassing phone calls and messages from Brian all day, to the point she reported the harassment to Tamaqua Police.When she came home, she found her harasser waiting for her. When he began making rude comments, she kicked the side of the vehicle.The Jeep's owner, John Priadka, told police he wanted to press charges against Deann Breiner. Damage to the vehicle was reported to be $863.79.Charges of criminal mischief were filed on Feb. 4.
