PITTSBURGH (AP) - The Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania is launching a new education initiative that will bring video of two bald eagle nests to classroom video screens in real time.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (http://bit.ly/1om30Hm ) reports that a special permit was granted by the Pennsylvania Game Commission for installation of live-streaming video cameras at two eagle nest sites in Allegheny County.Not only will students have access to the video stream, but an Audubon educator will also interact with the teacher, pointing out such things as aspects of the nest, the physiology of the eagles and the egg-laying circle.The initiative is available for free to all public and private schools in western Pennsylvania.Audubon communications director Rachel Handel says the program will launch once eggs are laid at the sites.---Information from: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette,
