Light snow expected Monday night into Wednesday

The National Weather Service is predicting light snow will begin tonight and continue through Wednesday morning, but right now it looks like less than 3 inches will fall.

Here's the latest forecast:

Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 38. Northeast wind 6 to 9 mph.

Tonight: Snow likely, mainly after 4am. Cloudy, with a low around 27. East wind 5 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tuesday: Snow likely, mainly before 8am. Cloudy, with a high near 33. East wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tuesday Night: A chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 27. Light southwest wind. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Wednesday: A chance of snow showers, mainly before 10am. Cloudy, with a high near 34. West wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Wednesday Night: A slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 28.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 10.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 25.
