Police said that both people had injured when they arrived at the scene, and both of them advised police that the other had inflicted the injuries.Police said they were arrested on charges of simple assault and transported to the Carbon County Correctional Facility, Nesquehoning, for temporary confinement until their arraignments the next day.Police said at a preliminary hearing held Feb. 3, they agreed to plead guilty to the lesser charges of harassment.
