Several defendants entered guilty pleas on Friday before Judge Joseph J. Matika in Carbon County court to drug-related charges.

Sara M. Cilente, 22, of Lansford, pleaded to one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-marijuana.She was arrested on May 17, 2015, in the Panther Valley School District football stadium in Lansford. Borough police observed Cilente and several juveniles inside the fenced area of the stadium. She was found to have in her possession marijuana and admitted supplying drugs to the juveniles.Matika said he was concerned about the charges as Cilente was supplying drugs to juveniles who were five years younger than her. He said, "You're supplying them with drugs, starting them on a drug habit." He said she was given a break by the commonwealth in the plea agreement and told her, "You'd better take advantage of the opportunity."Matika sentenced her to serve one to one day less 24 months in prison, get a drug and alcohol evaluation, zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use, supply a DNA sample, render 50 hours of community service and stay off all school district property.She was given credit for 36 days spent in jail on the charge and paroled.Stephanie Marie Weirich, 39, of Lansford, pleaded to one count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and harassment.She was arrested on June 20, 2015, by Lansford police who were dispatched for a fight in progress in the area of 206 W. Water St. Police reported that Weirich attempted to separate the two fighting and in the process struck one of the fighters. Police said they found marijuana and paraphernalia on her.On the paraphernalia charge Matika placed her on probation for six months. On the possession of marijuana charge she was fined $100, and on the harassment charge fined $50. She was also ordered to render 25 hours of community service and zero tolerance imposed on drug and alcohol use.Randy Crocker, 53, of Summit Hill, pleaded to one count each of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana.He was arrested on March 29, 2015, at 113 E. Fell St., by Summit Hill police who responded to a reported disturbance. On scene the victim wanted Crocker removed from the residence. During a pat-down, police found marijuana and a pipe to smoke it on his person.Because of previous criminal convictions, Crocker faced a prison term on the charges. On the paraphernalia charge Matika sentenced him to serve three to six months in prison, and on the small amount charge a fine of $100. He was also ordered to render 25 hours of community service when released on parole. He was given credit for 60 days spent in prison on the charges.David Robert Roth, 28, of Gilbertsville, pleaded to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.He was arrested on Aug. 27, 2015, by state police at Lehighton along Ross Avenue in Towamensing Township. Found on his person were 13 bags of heroin. In a plea agreement a possession of a controlled substance was dropped. He is currently serving a prison term in Berks County.Matika sentenced him to serve three to 12 months in prison as a repeat felon, and ordered he get both drug and alcohol and mental health evaluations, zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use, and render 50 hours of community service when released from prison. He was given credit for nine days spent in jail on the charge.Each defendant sentenced must also pay court costs of about $1,000 and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
