A Lehigh County man died on Tuesday at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, from carbon monoxide poisoning.

The coroner's office said Michael May, 55, of 1213 E. Woodlawn St., Allentown, was attempting to clear snow from around his car on Sunday morning. While seated in the vehicle he was overcome by exhaust fumes. The exhaust pipe of his vehicle was blocked with snow, coroner Scott Grim said.Grim ruled the death weather related. May was pronounced dead at 4:18 p.m.
