Save Carbon County, a group organized to fight the proposed PennEast/UGI pipeline, will meet from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Democratic Information Center, 184 S. First St. in downtown Lehighton.

Residents of Carbon County who would like to be actively involved in the effort to defeat the proposed pipeline are invited.The agenda will include discussion of protest events, an anti-pipeline brochure, and coordinated action with regional anti-pipeline groups.For more information, contact Linda Christman at 415-847-1607.
