Having a brake light out proved to be costly for a Ringtown man.
Robert Beaver was driving a silver Jeep on South Cleveland Street in McAdoo at 1:58 a.m. Dec. 19. Officers on patrol noticed the missing light and made a traffic stop. When asked for his license, registration and insurance, Beaver handed his passenger's driver's license to the officer. When asked for his license, again, he provided an expired license.A records check determined Beaver's license was suspended, DUI related. As the odor of alcohol surrounding the driver was quite strong, officers asked him to submit to field sobriety tests, which he failed.Beaver was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic offenses.
