Schuylkill County Judge Charles M. Miller has dissolved a bench warrant against a Barnesville man and reinstated bail.

Jonathan R. Kechula, 41, was ordered to continue living at 180 Buck Mountain Road and not relocate without notifying the district attorney in writing.Miller also ordered him not to have alcoholic beverages, controlled substances or drug paraphernalia.Kechula was charged by Mahanoy City police use or possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while his license was suspended on June 10, 2014. His bail was set at $10,000 unsecured by District Judge Anthony J. Kilker of Shenandoah.Judge Cyrus P. Dolbin issued the bench warrant on April 20 after Kechula failed to appear for a hearing.In other court rulings:Stephen A. Maguschak, 26, of Beaver Meadows: Judge James Goodman dissolved a bench warrant against him and reinstated Maguschak's $10,000 percentage bail. Goodman also ordered him to apply for a public defender.Maguschak was charged by Rush Township police with retail theft and receiving stolen property on Aug. 4, 2015.Edward J. Hoffman, 43, of Hazleton: Senior Judge D. Michael Stine found Hoffman guilty of indirect criminal contempt for violating a court order. He fined Hoffman $300 and ordered him pay court costs.Hoffman was charged by Rush Township police with simple assault, unlawful restraint, and harassment on Feb. 28 after an incident on Frankford Avenue.Dennis W. Helfrich, 43, of Tamaqua: Goodman dismissed his application for bail reduction because Helfrich had already been released.Helfrich was charged by Rush Township police with retail theft on Dec. 3, 2015. District Judge Stephen J. Bayer of Tamaqua set bail at $10,000 percentage.Christopher Haldeman, 39, of Mahanoy City: President Judge William E. Baldwin revoked Haldeman's parole and sent him to state prison. His 238 days of freedom were disallowed and added to his maximum sentence, extending it to April 28, 2020.Baldwin gave Haldeman credit for 61 days served.Haldeman was charged by Mahanoy City police with a fraudulent title, driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and vehicle violations on April 24, 2009. He pleaded guilty to DUI, use or possession of drug paraphernalia in October 2010, and Baldwin sentenced him to five years in prison.
