Emily Elizabeth Sofranko, a sophomore at Wilkes University, has been notified she has achieved dean's list, for the fall semester.

Emily is an education major in math, Spanish and special education.She is a member of the Wilkes University Honors Society, and is currently the starting point guard for the Wilkes University Women's Basketball team, and leader in the defensive side of the ball with 28 steals as of Jan. 4 in the Mac Conference.Emily has achieved dean's list status three times since becoming a Wilkes student in 2014.Emily is a graduate of Marian Catholic High School, Tamaqua, and a former Marian Fillie basketball player.She is the daughter of Mike and Therese Sofranko of Jim Thorpe.
