It’s been more than four months since a Tamaqua father of two vanished.

Jesse Farber, 29, called his girlfriend in distress on Aug. 11, and then disappeared.Farber’s girlfriend said he appealed for help and indicated he was in “woods behind the school,” presumably Sharp Mountain to the rear of Tamaqua Area High School.Searches of heavy forests and deep mine pits by state police, firefighters, specially trained K-9 units, search-and-rescue teams and volunteers have failed to produce results.
