A 13-year-old Monroe County girl died Saturday after being struck by a car Tuesday in Tobyhanna.

Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim said Ashlee J. Smahaj died early Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.She was hit at 3:34 p.m Tuesday at the intersection of Allegheny and Candlewood drives in Tunkhannock Township.The Lehigh County Coroner's Office and the Pocono Regional Police Department are conducting the investigation.
