Dave Pacchioni has decided to step down as head football coach at Pleasant Valley.

Pacchioni guided the Bears for two seasons, posting a 6-5 record both years.This past season the team reached the Eastern Conference playoffs while the year before they qualified for district play.Pacchioni has cited family reasons for leaving the position. He and his wife have a seven-month-old son.The two-year mentor joined the PV staff in 2009 under then head coach Jim Terwilliger.
