Christmas light competition

The Lehighton Downtown Initiative will be holding a Christmas Light competition for the residents and businesses of the borough.The categories that the judges will be voting on for the residents include Most Nostalgic, Best use of lights, Most Untraditional, Most Whimsical and Judges Choice. There will be two selections for each category, and the winner will receive a $25 discount on their utility bill for January.There will also be four businesses selected, and the winners will receive a $100 discount on their utility bill for January.The judging will take place on the evening of Dec. 19.Good luck to all participants, and happy holidays to you and your families from the Lehighton Downtown Initiative.
