NORRISTOWN (AP) - A top aide to Pennsylvania's attorney general is due in court Monday for a contempt hearing on charges he snooped on emails to keep tabs on a grand jury investigation involving his boss.

A lawyer for Patrick Reese has argued that Reese wasn't aware of the court order protecting the emails.Montgomery County prosecutors charged Reese with criminal contempt the same day in August they charged Kane with perjury, obstruction and other charges.Kane is accused of leaking grand jury material and then lying about it. She has vowed to fight the charges.Reese is a former small-town police chief in northeastern Pennsylvania and has served as Kane's driver.He earns nearly $100,000 as a supervisory special agent in her office.Defense lawyer William Fetterhoff declined to comment on the contempt hearing.
