The Skodacek Panthers U10 team of the Panther Valley Youth Soccer Association recently captured the Carbon County Cup championship. Soccer teams from the Jim Thorpe, Lehighton, Panther Valley and Towamensing Township soccer associations competed in the tournament held at the Beltzville State Park. The Panthers had a perfect 14-0 record, going 9-0 during the regular season and 5-0 in the Carbon County Cup Tournament.
