State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating two theft incidents occurring in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said an International flatbed utility trailer was stolen from Second Street in Port Carbon.Erich Matthew Borrell, 39, of Port Carbon, reported the black trailer was taken sometime between 4:30 a.m. Nov. 18 and 6 a.m. Nov. 19.Troopers are investigating a reported retail theft incident at Kohl's Department Store, located in the Fairlane Village Mall in Norwegian Township.Troopers said a suspect was observed on surveillance video going into a fitting room at the store with a JBL portable Bluetooth speaker and Monster earbuds.The suspect then came out of the fitting room and left his cart in the aisle.Once the cart was found, the empty boxes for the items were found. The stolen items are valued at $153.68. The incident occurred at 4:10 p.m. Saturday.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
