A Schuylkill County man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in September.
State police at Frackville identified the suspect as Jason Pryce, 30, of Ashland.Pryce was charged with an armed robbery that occurred around 10:30-11 p.m. on Sept. 3 at 100 W. M ain St., in Girardville. At the time the victim reported that an unknown white male confronted him in the downstairs lobby of his apartment. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money. The victim gave the man about $150 in cash. The suspect then fled on foot.Through the course of the investigation Pryce was determined to be the person involved. He was arrested on Nov. 19 at the Schuylkill County prison in Pottsville, where he is an inmate on unrelated charges. He was arraigned by video conference by District Judge Christina Hale, of Frackville, on charges of robbery, aggravated and simple assault, and theft. Bail was set at $15,000 straight cash.
