CarFit will be at Cherryville Senior Center at the Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 10.

This will be a free opportunity for area seniors to be checked to see how their cars "fit" them.The event is sponsored by the Lehigh Township Police Department.Developed by AAA, AARP and the American Occupational Therapy Association partnership, CarFit's trained professionals take older drivers through a 12-point checklist with their vehicle, recommending minor adjustments that help make their cars "fit" better for comfort and safety.An occupational therapist will be on hand to answer questions.For more information, call the police department at 610-760-8800.
