November 25, 1963

A 25-year dream of Carbon County Superintendent of Schools Stuart Prutzman for a Carbon County Area Vocational-Technical School may become a reality when school directors vote on the establishment of such a school at a special meeting to be held at the courthouse.Prutzman first proposed the school, which was subsequently rejected, 25 years ago today, mainly because the school directors of that era could not agree on a site.Because of the complexity and rapid growth of business and industry, many school directors now feel the necessity of skill and technical training for students.
