A Carbon County man is facing a charge of simple assault following an incident in Monroe County.

State police at Lehighton said the incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Thursday in the 1000 block of Pine Cone Court in Saylorsburg.Troopers said Danall George Greenzweig, 31, of Summit Hill, and a 51-year-old female from Saylorsburg became involved in a verbal argument that turned physical.As a result Greenzweig was taken into custody and arraigned before District Judge JoLana Krawitz of Stroudsburg. Greenzweig was released on bail.
