Congressman Francis E. Walter announced today a mammoth recreational park is to be developed in Carbon County under the auspices of the division of land utilization bureau of Rural Resettlement Administration.The project will be one of 14,000 acres in the townships of Kidder and Penn Forest. The improvement will mean a considerable expenditure of public funds and will afford a great amount of work, the congressman said. He believes it will be of great value to this entire section in a permanent way, bringing immense numbers of travelers to this section.
