The Lehighton Band will be presenting its annual Christmas Concert beginning at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 in the Pfc. Clyde R. Houser Building (Lehighton Borough Annex) on North Third Street in Lehighton. The concert will have a different format than in previous years in that there will be no dinner served but cookies and drink will be available throughout the concert.

The concert will feature both sacred and secular songs of the Christmas season including LeRoy Anderson's famous "Sleigh Ride" as well as a beautiful arrangement of "Silent Night." The audience will enjoy hearing several medleys of familiar Christmas carols as well as "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and the ever-popular "White Christmas."Tickets for this event are available from any member of the band at Carbon County Music and More on South Second Street, Lehighton, or by calling 610-377-2737.The price of a ticket is $5 if purchased before the concert or $6 if purchased at the door.
