A Carbon County resident was killed in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Monday morning in Luzerne County.

State police at Shickshinny identified the victim as Dane Snyder, 57, of Lehighton.According to troopers, Snyder was driving a 1997 Ford Super Duty stake body truck northbound on Route 93 in Nescopeck Township, in an area known as Zehner’s Flat, when the vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole head-on.Snyder was pronounced dead at the scene.No other details were available from troopers.
