November 12, 1971 - Bill Milot throws for 134 yards and a pair of touchdowns to help Tamaqua close its season with a 22-6 victory over West Hazleton. The Blue Raiders, coached by Walt Ligenza, score on their first three possessions and coast the rest of the way. Milot hits Mark Truskey with a 4-yard TD toss to open the game's scoring. The next tally, a 1-yard throw from Milot to Denny Pastucha, is set up when the pair hook up for a 58-yard gain. Jan Vinsko finishes with a team-high 86 yards rushing, including his team's final touchdown.
