Palmerton Police Department continues to investigate the following incidents:

DUICriminal charges were filed against Deanna Freedman, 45, of Philadelphia, for DUI, stop signs and yield signs, careless driving, and driving under suspension. The incident occurred on Sept. 12 at 10:45 a.m. at Fifth Street and Franklin Avenue.HarassmentCriminal charges were filed against David Mette, 47, of Palmerton, for false imprisonment, simple assault and harassment. The incident occurred on Oct. 27 at 7:35 p.m. in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue.OtherPolice also issued nine citations for speeding, three for vehicle violations, and one for traffic violation.
