The theft of music and sound equipment worth an estimated $12,000 is being investigated in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said a 55-year-old Mahanoy City man reported he had been storing music and sound equipment at Fast Frank's Bar, 22 Coal St., Middleport, for several years. The man said he and the property owner had a dispute and he attempted to remove the equipment from the location but was not allowed access to the equipment. A further investigation revealed the equipment is no longer at the location. The investigation into the incident is continuing.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
