One home was destroyed, two others heavily damaged and a fourth suffered smoke and water damage as the result of a fast moving fire Friday afternoon in Ashland. The fire was reported shortly after 1 p.m. in the ten hundred block of Walnut street. Fire companies from throughout central Schuylkill county responded to the blaze. No injuries were reported in the incident.
