A Carbon County man, wanted in Michigan, was apprehended on Tuesday.

State police at Fern Ridge said Scott Leroy Fortin, 48, of 90 E. Cherokee Trail, Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, was picked up at his residence about 1:32 p.m.Troopers said there is an active warrant issued from the Attorney General's office of Michigan for Fortin. Fortin was placed in the county prison in Nesquehoning pending extradition to Michigan.
