A Monroe County teen is facing burglary and related charges.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police identified the suspect as Stephanie Geiger, 19, of 137 Orono Drive, Blakeslee.According to police on Oct. 29 officers were dispatched to 456 Maxatawny Drive at 3:13 p.m. for an assault involving a weapon. It was later determined that Geiger had broken into the home and hit the victim with a wrench. Geiger fled the home before officers arrived. She was located at short time later and taken into custody.She has been charged with burglary, aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a weapon, criminal mischief (all felonies), simple assault (a misdemeanor) and harassment, (a summary). She was initially placed in the county prison but has since been released.
