The Tamaqua Elks “Hoop Shoot” Free Throw Contest will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21 at the Tamaqua Elementary Gymnasium.The event is open to all boys and girls ages 8 through 13.The time schedule is as follows: 8-9, 9 a.m.; 10-11, 10 a.m.; 12-13, 11 a.m.Contestant age group will be determined by their age as of April 1, 2016 (8 and 9 year old boys and girls shoot four feet in from the foul line).The “Hoop Shoot” is free and entrants can register the day of the contest.
