• Accepted the resignation of Juan J. Escalante of Nesquehoning as sergeant at Carbon County Correctional Facility, effective Oct. 16.• Accepted the resignation of Jared T. Welsh of Tamaqua as part-time corrections officer at Carbon County Correctional Facility, effective Oct. 5.• Hired Stephanie I. Millard of Jim Thorpe as a part-time K-9 officer, Animal Shelter, effective Oct. 26.• Approved the change of statuses for Shea E. Kelchner of Slatington and Jason K. Pfleiderer of Lehighton from part-time corrections officers to part-time corrections officers/Teamsters, Carbon County Correctional Facility, effective Oct. 26.• Approved the change of status for Valerie H. Stuart of Albrightsville from part-time dispatcher trainee to part-time dispatcher, Communications Center, effective Oct. 26.
