The purpose of my letter is to confirm my endorsement of Bob Miller for Carbon County Coroner. I have known Bob for 35 years, beginning when I did floor covering in his home in Mahoning Township.

Shortly after I was elected for the first of my two terms as coroner, I appointed Bob as a deputy.He did his job so well that when I was able to name a chief deputy at the beginning of my second term, there was no question he would be my choice.I appointed Bob chief deputy even though leaders in the Republican Party at the time pressured me to name another person with no experience whom they called a "good vote-getter."Knowing Bob's performance as a deputy superseded any political "qualifications," I stood my ground and appointed Bob.He has continued as a reliable, meticulous and expert deputy coroner to the present day.In addition to the on-the-job experience Bob has garnered over the past 27 years, he has also obtained the required training course for coroner at the Pennsylvania State Police Academy and countless other hours of continuing education to maintain a high level of expertise.Please join me in supporting Bob at the polls on Election Day.Thank You,Phil JeffriesWeatherly
