Tamaqua Police have cited Edward L. Rivera Jr, 30, of 214 Race St., Tamaqua, with attempted retail theft.

Rivera was in the Fegley Mini Mart at 8:17 p.m. on Oct. 9 when he attempted to steal a Nemo's cheese Danish. His actions were witnessed by store personnel. Rivera was identified through surveillance camera footage.
