A Schuylkill County man was jailed on Sunday for violating a protection from abuse order involving his father.

State police at Frackville said Jospeh Richard Angst, 49, of New Philadelphia, went to the residence of his father, Kenneth Richard Angst, 79, at 100 Valley St., Apt. 5, New Philadelphia, about 10:50 a.m. Troopers said the PFA order prohibits the son from going to the residence and having contact with his father.Joseph Angst was taken into custody and arraigned before on-call District Judge David Rossi of Tremont on a charge of indirect criminal contempt.He was unable to post $15,000 straight cash bail and was committed to the county prison in Pottsville.
