Tamaqua police have prepared charges against Raymond A. White, 30, last known address of 238 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, after an incident on Oct. 19.

Officers were contacted by Lakisha White, who has a valid protection from abuse order barring White from having any contact with her, or their children.Ms. White had been receiving text messages from her estranged husband for over a week. She contacted police after receiving a call from personnel at the Tamaqua Elementary School, who reported that White had attempted to pick the children up from school.He will be charged with indirect criminal contempt of court.
