A teenager from Tamaqua Area School District was injured Wednesday morning in a crash along Route 895 in West Penn Township. The crash occurred just after 7 a.m. as he was traveling west and lost control.

His late model Jeep entered the right berm where it struck three trees, re-entered the roadway rolling before coming to rest on its roof.

The victim was treated at the scene by members of the Penn Mahoning ambulance.

West Penn police are investigating the incident. West Penn Fire Police maintained traffic control at the scene.
