A Mountaintop woman was lodged in the Schuylkill County prison in Pottsville after an incident in Rush Township on Oct. 18.

Police responded to Claremont Avenue at 7:30 a.m. and spoke with Meghann Jones, 32. Jones initially provided a false name to the officer. After her real identity was established, a records check turned up an arrest warrant for her issued in Luzerne County.She was taken to the county prison on the warrant.Rush police will charge her with providing false identification to law enforcement and trespassing.
