State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating a retail theft incident that happened at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday at the Dollar General Store, 2435 Route 115, Effort.

Police said the suspect is a 57-year-old man from Blakeslee.Police said he was seen exiting the store and emptying items into his vehicle that were concealed inside his coat.
