The monthly meeting of the Ranger Rick Club will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Carbon County Environmental Education Center. The club meets the second Sunday of each month and is open to all students from kindergarten through sixth grades.
Meetings generally last about an hour and a half.Each month's meeting focuses on some aspect of the natural world. This month's topic, "Spectacular Spiders," will include a hike in search of spiders.The program is free for CCEEC members and a nominal donations is requested for nonmembers.For more information or to register, call the center at 570-645-8597.CCEEC is located at the west end of Mauch Chunk Lake Park along Lentz Trail in Summit Hill.
