Bethany@ptd.netTrinity happeningsThe Women of the ELCA of Trinity are hosting the Women of Grace Lutheran Church today at 7 p.m. in Luther Hall, Third and Iron streets. The program is being led by SALM Emma Weaver.Sunday worship services at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., are at 8:30 and 11 a.m. The Trinity Praise Band provides music at the 8:30 worship service, traditional organ music at the later service. Coffeehouse fellowship is at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Nancy L. Moore presides.Sunday School for students age 3 through grade 6, plus Level II (grade 8) confirmation classes begin at 9:45 a.m.Members of the church will participate in the Lehighton CROP Walk at the Lehigh Canal Park, Weissport, on Sunday. The theme: "Ending Hunger One Step at a Time." Registration is at 1 p.m., the walk starts at 2 p.m. The course is 1-4 miles. Money received benefits Trinity Food Pantry (25 percent), and Church World Services (75 percent) for relief and development programs. Checks are made out to "CWS/CROP."
