Police are searching for a man who unsuccessfully attempted to rob a bank in Schuylkill County Wednesday morning.

Around 9:20 a.m., someone entered a Santander Bank branch in Pine Grove and demanded cash, while concealing his hands in his pockets. However he ran out the front door of the bank without any money. No one was injured during the incident.The suspect is described as a white male between 5 foot, 4 inches and 5 foot, 8 inches, weighing approximately 150 pounds. Police say they do not know whether he was actually armed at the time of the incident.Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call state police at Schuylkill Haven at 570-739-1330.
