Bokan's hat trick leads Indians past NL
A hat trick by Frank Bokan helped Lehighton earn a boys soccer win over Northern Lehigh.

Joe Marks scored twice and contributed two assists, while Bryce Smith scored the Tribe's final goal. The winners also received assists from Dan Bokan, Zeka Elkhyati and Jake Hoffner.For the Bulldogs, Jakob Traca had a first-half goal to give his team a 1-0 lead. Dan Belfonti, who assisted on Traca's goal, scored in the second half.Lehighton outshot their opponents by a 10-4 margin.GIRLS SOCCERPottsville-Jim ThorpePottsville scored two first-half goals to gain a 2-0 Schuylkill League win over Jim Thorpe.Delaney Golden and Carly Hoak scored for the Tide, who held a 16-7 advantage in shots on goal.For the Lady Olympians, Rebecca Cressman had 14 saves.Northwestern-ParklandA first-half score by Parkland's Ava Hanna proved to be the only goal in the Trojans 1-0 non-league win over Northwestern.Rachel Medlar assisted Hanna on the game-winning tally.The winners finished with a 4-1 edge in shots on goal. McKenna Amey made three stops in net for the Tigers.With the victory, Parkland improves to 14-1 overall.
