October 5, 1991Seventy-five 11th- and 12th-grade Panther Valley High School literature students of Richard Morgans and Richard McIntyre attended the annual Renaissance Faire for senior high students at Cornwall, near Lebanon.Panther Valley won first place honors in the banner competition with an elaborate, well-done representation of academics, co-curricular activities and the Renaissance period.The Faire exposes students to a living history of Renaissance culture, arts, crafts and foods of the period. Youngsters observed and become actively involved as they are transported back in time to the 16th and 17th centuries.
